Coming from a family of artists, some say it was a natural career choice. But growing up, I never thought I would make a living doing something that was actually fun. I spent a lot of my childhood in art classes and in my “studio” drawing, painting, and color coding the Crayola® 64 box.
Fast forward several years…After receiving my BFA in Graphic Design I started my career at the legendary Barneys New York. Working at the upscale retailer taught me to have fun with design and speak directly to an audience. I worked on newspaper and magazine ads, outdoor advertising for taxi tops and billboards and created memorable seasonal catalogs. Next, I went on to work at Bloomingdale's, designing packaging for their exclusive private label lines—creating and producing everything from woven labels to hangtags.
After making a mark in the retail world, I explored my creativity at boutique design studios and advertising agencies; creating direct mail pieces, print ads, media kits, speciality brochures and invitations for high-profile clients including: The Peninsula Hotel & Spa, American Express, Paul Stuart, Lazare Diamonds, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and The American Cancer Society.
Having my own studio is a dream come true! Select clients include: Aquamarine Capital Management, The Chairworks Manufacturing Group, Floris Special Events, New Jersey Tax Appeals, StarKarp Productions and Susquehanna Financial Group, LLP.
In between designing, I can be seen coloring, having a dance party or building a killer fort with my two daughters.
